Intro to Agile

Agile refers to a group of product development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming (XP), and more.

Agile product development is based on iterative and incremental principles, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams. The term agile was introduced in the Agile Manifesto in 2001 to refer to the commonality among several conceptual frameworks.

Agile frameworks encourage adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery, a time-boxed iterative approach, and rapid and flexible response to change.
